Aughrim GAA

Well done to  the seniors on a good  away win in the league to Barndarrig. This  win was well  overdue and is a credit to the players and management to keep it going when so many things have been against us during the year .Next up is our final league game against  Carnew and our relegation battle with Eire Og so keep an eye out for the fixtures and come along to support these lads .

Hard luck to our juniors who were narrowly beaten by Donard last week but there is light at the end of the tunnel with the return of some of our younger lads to play for the club the future can  only be brighter .

Enjoy a trip to the Aughrim Town & Country Market from 10am – 2pm every Saturday at The Pavilion on Rednagh Road.  Share a coffee and chat with friends in the ‘Coffee Dock Cafe’ or sit outside in the August sunshine and enjoy the beautiful scenery.  There is a great selection of local produce to be had, including; fresh meat and vegetables, farm fresh eggs, freshly baked bread and cakes and homemade seasonal jams and chutneys.  You will also find lovely gift ideas from the craft stalls and very nice hand-crafted jewellery. Do drop in and support your local market.  For further information contact Caroline at 086 0865838.
