Avoca Playgroup
Will re-open on 31st August 2016 in Avoca Community Hall. Playgroup runs every day from Monday to Friday during the school year. If you would like your child to learn and socialise through play in a supervised environment with fully qualified childcare practioners then Avoca Playgroup is an option worth considering. Avoca Playgroup has places for children who qualify for the ECCE scheme, we also have places for children who can not avail of the ECCE scheme. Avoca Relay – calling all camogie GAA teams – are you the fastest in Wicklow!
Avoca Tidy Towns and Community Courthouse are organising a 10km Race & Relay Race on the Red Kite Walk supported by Bill Porter of Rathdrum to raise funds for a new heating system for the Old Courthouse heritage Centre. The event takes place on September 16th starting 7pm at Avoca Community Hall. This is a relay race for a team of four to do one lap each of Red Kite Walk over 10km. The race is five laps of Red Kite Walk and all teams and runners and walkers are welcome. Refreshments will be served after the event.
