It is being reported that a person has died following an ambulance fire at Naas hospital.
The tragic events occurred at around 2pm as a patient, believed to be a man in his 70’s was being brought into the hospital by ambulance.
Two paramedics were injured, one of whom is being treated in Intensive Care.
The cause of the fire is not known.
Fire services are at the scene.
