Porridge for Moneystown kids

WE’RE IN THE MONEY! Pupils from Moneystown National School in Roundwood, celebrate winning €10,000 for their school with their teacher Michelle Mannix, James Flahavan of Flahavan’s, Sinead Breen of Keelings and Ian Dempsey. The competition, which attracted 5,000 entries, ran on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM.

It was sponsored by Flahavan’s and Keelings to promote a healthy breakfast during National Porridge Week. Schools were invited to put forward their pitch as to why they should win the cash prize for their school and what they would do with the money should they win.  Moneystown came out on top with the best pitch and were clearly delighted with their win!
