Suspected killer handed himself in to gardai in Greystones

A suspected killer handed himself in to the gardai at Greystones only hours after an appeal on RTE’s Crimecall which aired on Tuesday evening.

63 year-old Oliver Hurley is wanted by the English authorities in relation to alleged manslaughter charges.

Hurley an Irish national is alleged to have fatally attacked a man at a Salvation Army hostel in London.

An extradition hearing was heard at the High Court on Wednesday, he was remanded at Cloverhill prison and is due in court again in the coming weeks.
