The next committee meeting will be held on Thursday December 1st at 10.30am in Lawless’ Hotel. One of our members will give a demonstration of Christmas flower arrangements at the next members meeting which will be held on December 6th in the ‘Sports Complex’  at 10.30am.  Please bring €20 in an envelope with your name inscribed, for the Christmas party.  This year’s Christmas Collection will go to the Aideen Fanning Fund. Please bring your donation in an envelope.  The Christmas issue of the Aughrim Times produced by members is now available in the local shops. Please support us by buying a copy at €2.50. It is great value, full of local interest and lively articles.

See you there!

The yearly Christmas Fair organized by the Aughrim Business Association takes place the next day in Lawless’ Hotel on Sunday 4th December from 11am to 5pm.  The Fair offers a wide variety of craft stalls to find your unique Christmas presents. Many small local businesses present their services and wares on your doorstep. The Anne Devlin music group will play festive songs at 1.15pm. The hotel lounge is open for lunch and refreshments during the day. The entrance to the Fair is free, there is a raffle with beautiful prizes provided by the stall holders and local businesses. First prize is a superb picnic-table donated by Woodfab; don’t miss the chance to win it!  For more details contact Christien Van Bussel at 086 8597267, email: vanbussel.c@gmail.com
