TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sunday December 4 the walk is at Mullins (Grade B 12k approx, 3 hours approx). Meeting in Tinahely at 10.30. On Sunday December 11 the walk is in the Blackstairs (Grade B 10k approx, 3 hours approx). Meeting in Tinahely at 10.30 (or 11.00 in Bunclody). Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear.
There was no winner of the GAA lotto numbers were 4,10,18,24, lucky dips were Martin Denpsey, Killanure. Margaret Doran, Croneyhorn. Conal McCrea, L.Phelan c/o Willie Driver, the next draw is 5th December in McCrea’s and the jackpot is €3,800.
The committee of Tomacork church would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported their annual cabaret, to all who sold and bought tickets, your support is greatly appreciated.
Santa Claus is coming to Carnew on Sunday 18th December from 5-7pm in Colaiste Bhride Carnew admission €5 per child, €10 per family, all proceeds towards the Back Alley fund, all welcome to come along.

The winner of Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew Split the Pot was Tony Doyle winning €300, tickets on sale from the school and local shops, thanks to everyone for their support to date.
CARNEW COMMUNITY CARE
The committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported the November Fair on Friday 11th November at the Day Centre, to all the staff and volunteers who helped on the night and especially to everyone who donated items for their stalls, your generosity and support was very much appreciated.
A Christmas craft fair will be held on Sunday 4th December from 2-5pm in The Gap pub Ballythomas with wonderful gift ideas, Irish grown Christmas trees, local crafters, mulled wine, a visit from Santa from 4-5pm, TY Mini companies from Colasite Bhride all in a cosy and friendly pub, all welcome.
The last bingo for 2016 will be held on Sunday 4th December at 2.30pm in St Brigid’s Hall, Carnew, many thanks to everyone who has supported this fundraiser for the hall during the year.
