Carysfort Christmas Craft Fair 2016

Carysfort National School are once again looking forward to hosting their annual fair on Saturday, December 3^rd  from 11am to 4pm.

This annual event has grown in strength and popularity each year and this year it promises to host over 40 local stall holders selling a range of wonderful crafts and stocking fillers for Christmas.   It is greatly supported by the local community and we look forward to increased attendance this year.

The Carysfort Christmas Craft Fair is unique in that it promotes local cottage industry from crafts, artisan food, seasonal giftware, toys, home décor, jewellery, cakes, beauty products and many more exciting giftware ideas to suit every pocket.

Many unique gifts will be available from fairy doors, outdoor wooden reindeer, candles, bespoke jewellery and much more, all made by local people.

As well as all of the shopping opportunities, there will be a coffee shop with a selection of sandwiches and home baked treats for all the family.  The new Carysfort Country Kitchen Stall will host a wide variety of homemade delights  including  cakes, tarts, biscuits, scones, bread, quiches and lots more!

We are very excited to announce that this year Santa Claus will travel via horse and carriage from the Arklow Bay Hotel through the town of Arklow, arriving at his grotto in Carysfort at 12.00pm.  Our younger visitors can also avail of the fabulous face painting as they wait.

If all of this doesn’t get you in the festive spirits, there will be carol singing by Carysfort children to lift the spirits of even the biggest Scrooge.

This is a great opportunity for people to see first-hand the fabulous local produce available in Arklow and the surrounding areas.  It really is a one stop shop for unique Christmas presents, ambience and even the chance to purchase Christmas trees and wreaths.
