
Another night of ice and frost along with freezing fog have been forecast for tonight.
Gardai and Wicklow County Council have advised that the R115 and R759 roads that cross the Sally Gap are impassable.
Driving conditions are extremely hazardous in the area.
Please respect the signs and do not attempt to drive on these roads until further notice.
Tonight
Cold and dry with clear spells tonight, fog dense in places fog dense in places with patches of freezing fog too. Lowest temperatures of 0 to -3 degrees Celsius. Light northerly winds becoming moderate northeasterly by morning but increasing fresh to strong or very strong and gusty along the east and southeast coast.
Tomorrow
Cold, bright and dry at first with a few mist and fog patches. However cloud will build through the afternoon with outbreaks of rain developing along the southeast and east coast through the late afternoon and evening. Becoming windy through the day with fresh to strong and gusty northeast winds and winds reaching gale force along the coast. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius.
