The death has taken place of former Wicklow hurler Jim Connors.
Jim’s hurling career with St.Pat’s and the Wicklow county team was cut short when he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
Friend Johnny Carton said ” Jim an absolute gentleman off the field and a hero on it..never forget u pal.. Wicklow have lost one of the true greats today.”
