Library

Opening times for Aughrim Library are as follows Tuesday 3-5 Wednesday 3-5 and 6-60 until 8-30 Friday 11-1 and 3-5 Saturday 2-4. Membership free. Photocopying available.
Whist Drive

There will be a whist drive in Annacurra Community centre on Saturday night next  December  17.

 starting at 9 pm.

 

 

Ballinglen Lights

The switching on of the Christmas tree lights in Ballinglen will take place on this coming Sunday , December  18 commencing at 6pm.

The Evening Festivities will include the Blessing of the Crib, Carol Singing, and the arrival of Santa. Refreshments  afterwards in Doyles.

 

Kevin Bell Fundraiser.

A charity walk, car, tractor and lorry run will be held on Sunday 1st January at 12.30pm in Carnew. This fundraising event will start at Quinns Mart.  All proceeds to KBRT, the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust which aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families in repatriating the bodies of their loved ones,who have died tragically or suddenly in circumstances abroad back to Ireland.

Registration from 11.30am. Walkers €10.  Cars, tractors and lorries €20. There will be two routes easy and advanced.   Refreshments will be served afterwards in Colaiste Bhride. For further details and enquiries please contact  John Somers 0876578761. All are  welcome.
