Saturday December 17th Vigil Mass at 8 p.m. Sunday December 18th Mass at 10.30. Confessions after both Masses.  Wednesday 21st Penitential service in St. Mary’s & Peter’s Church, Arklow.  Saturday 24th Christmas Eve Vigil Mass at 8 p.m.  Christmas Day Mass at 10.30 a.m.

Active Retirement

The “Aughrim Times “magazine produced by our members is now available in all local shops at €2.50,  It features lots of local interest articles we hope you will support us by purchasing a copy.  We will be meeting at 6.30p.m. on Friday December 9th for our Christmas Party, don’t forget Kris Kindle.


Committee meeting on Thursday at 9 in complex all members please attend last one before Christmas.
Our Juvenile raffle tickets are in full swing so get out and purchase some, to help raise much needed funds .Raffle takes place in Joe’s on Saturday December 17th.  Hard luck to Tinahely U16’S who lost out in the final on Saturday last especially our lads Pierce and Shaun .

We wish to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support.  A special mention to Teresa Byrne and staff at Londis Aughrim for your great work in selling tickets. Mrs Phyllis Parle, Balleshal for once again supplying the Christmas pudding for the Christmas Hamper.  It was very encouraging to see the large number who dropped into the band room for a cuppa and a chat.  Which leaves us only, to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous and healthy 2017.


It’s that time of year…..thoughts of Christmas…presents and preparations… and parties. Join us at Aughrim Town & Country Market at the Pavilion, Rednagh Rd on Saturday’s from10am – 2pm for some Christmas cheer! Local crafts and farm fresh meat (the turkeys are being fattened for the big day), home baking including puddings and Christmas cakes made to order. Farm fresh eggs and delicious marmalades, jams and Christmas chutneys and much more!  Drop in for a mince pie and coffee beside the fire and pick up some Christmas gifts for friends and family. See you there!


The numbers: 4, 14, 15 and 21 were drawn in the Sports club lotto on Monday November 28th.  The jackpot was not won. Match three winners were: Barry Doyle, Michelle Kenny and Sean, Aoife, Cian, Ryan & Hannah. The jackpot is €4800.
