Arklow’s Main Street will see Christmas gift ideas, crafts and much more on Sunday 11th December as the Main Street will close to traffic from 12pm – 6pm for Arklow Christmas Festival Committee’s Christmas Craft Fair and Artisan Food Markets.
The street will be closed from Paddy Powers to the turn off for Ferrybank, where shoppers will get the opportunity to pick up some great gifts for Christmas and enjoy some great free entertainment at the same time.
There will be something to suit ages on the day, with a Live Crib, Arklow Majorettes Display from 1pm – 2pm, Christmas Jumper competition from 12-4.30pm, sponsored by Mc Mullans (just call in to Deirdre in Mc Mullans to Register) with some great prizes to be won just for wearing your festive Christmas Jumper, could not be easier.
AMA Busking competition will be another feature on the day running at various locations on the Main Street from 12-6pm with judging from 2pm- 4pm, with some great prizes to be won.
Inbhear Mor Performance Ensemble will entertain the crowds from 4pm – 5pm and guaranteed to bring festive cheer to everyone.
The Prize giving of the Xmas Jumper and Busking competition will take place at 5pm – 5.15pm at the Bandstand on Main Street

Shop local this Christmas and support local jobs and traders. Enter the Golden Ticket draw by dropping into any of the participating Traders supporting the Arklow Christmas Festival 2016, it is free and has a prize fund in excess of €2,000, draw will take place on Saturday 17th December.
