Wicklow’s hidden gem opens up for buses

One of Wicklow’s best kept secrets has opened up for buses, the Kilmacurragh Botanic Gardens opened its new gates on Wednesday.

There have been no bus tours to Kilmacurragh due to the narrow entrance, the attraction has welcomed up to 65,000 visitors a year in recent times.

With the addition of the Acton tea rooms and the opening of the M11 last year the gardens are set to become very popular among tourists as access has become easier.
