Three teenagers who destroyed a defibrillator in Arklow last month are also suspected of starting a fire at a business premises in the town on the same morning.
The three youngsters are the only suspects in a criminal damage arson incident causing €30,000 worth of damage.
They allegedly set fire to bins in an underground car park off the Main Street, the fire quickly went out of control and it was only the quick response of the Arklow fire services that prevented a licensed premises and apartments from being engulfed.
After gathering CCTV footage from around the town gardai were able to identify the suspects.
Two teenagers were arrested while the other handed himself in.
A file has been sent to the DPP in connection with both incidents and gardai are not looking for anyone else connected with the incidents.
