Wicklow Weather are forecasting a very cold weekend with sub zero nights from tonight through to Sunday.
Cold and dry tonight with long clear spells and a widespread frost. The frost will be sharp or severe in some inland parts. Localised patches of mist and fog will form also with just light breezes. Lowest temperatures of between minus 4 and plus 3 degrees, with the lowest values inland, away from coastal fringes.
Cold and frosty at first tomorrow, with some morning sunshine. However, cloud is expected to build from the south during the day. It will be dry in most areas but there is the chance of a few light showers, possibly turning wintry over high ground later. Cold with highest temperatures of only 3 to 6 degrees, in light southeasterly breezes.
