A new Greystones Route 702 Air Coach timetable came into effect on 1 January 2017.


Coach service from Dublin Airport now leaves Terminal 1 at five minutes past the hour.

Coach service to Dublin Airport leaves Charlesland either on the hour or ten past the hour.

Depending on whether during the day or whether early evening/night time.

Applications are now being taken for this year’s annual parade.

Help to make this year’s parade even bigger and better than ever.

Groups and businesses can sign up now.


Parade will start at South Beach Car Park at 12:00 p.m.

Groups gather at 11:30 a.m.

Parade proceeds up Church Road to reviewing stand at St. Patrick’s Church.

Finishes at Church Road/Victoria Road.


Awards will be presented in the following category entries:


Most Original           Most Colourful                             Best Uniformed

Best Traditional Irish Most Topical                     Most Entertaining

Best Social/Cultural   Best Sports                       Best Commercial

Best Musical            Overall Parade Winner         Best Window


The aim of the window competition is to encourage local businesses and organisations to decorate their windows for Ireland’s National Day.  No application is required for the window competition.  All decorated premises will be inspected and judged by an independent panel of judges.


Application fee is €20 for Clubs/Organisations;  €40 for Commercial.

Applications should be returned by 24 February, 2017.

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the meaning of life.

It’s fun,  it’s relaxed and totally no pressure.


Each sessions begins by chatting with one another over good food.

Then,  watch a video and hear an interesting talk.

Divide into groups and discuss some of the questions relevant to what has been seen.


Alpha is for anybody,  any age,  any belief or none.

There is no charge to do Alpha.

Greystones Archaeological & Historical Society Talk on National Library

Kilian House Family Centre;  8:00 p.m.


Speaker will be Gerry Long,  Assistant Keeper,  Department Special Collections.

Gerry’s talk will describe the National Library of Ireland in 1916.

It will include the involvement of some staff members in the events of that year.

The talk will also include the role of the National Library in collecting 1916 material.


All are most welcome to come along for this very interesting evening.

Small charge of €2,  to cover costs.

100 Women NWSD is a charity collective formed a year ago.

A group of dedicated women join together to make a significant impact for those in need.


The group meets on a quarterly basis to choose a single recognised Irish charity.

Their donations are pooled.

Three names are drawn from a hat,  and a pitch for the charity is made.

The group then votes.

Wicklow Homeless Five Loaves,  Open Door and Lucena Clinic have benefited so far.


All interested women are welcome  to join online or come along on the evening.

He sings traditional songs and his own songs.

He is a captivating and profoundly moving storyteller.

Martin also collaborates and has worked with a dazzling array of people.
