After a cold and frosty weekend, the wind and rain will return on Monday.
Tonight will be dry with clear spells. Frost will develop early in the night as temperatures fall to between 0 and -2 degrees. Cloud will thicken from the west overnight with rain spreading eastwards towards dawn along with strengthening south to southeast winds.
Monday will see the rain spread to all areas and it will be wet and windy with spells of rain through the day, some persistent and heavy. Southeast winds will become strong and gusty, reaching gale force in some coastal areas. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees.
