Sympathy to Marie Whelan and the extended Norton family on the death last week of their uncle Billy Norton. Billy who was in his 92nd year was interred in Newbridge Graveyard. May Billy rest in peace.
Rathsallagh Golf Club
We are delighted to introduce our new caterer, Mary Byrne and her team from’ Made by Mary’. They have been in catering over 20 years… even thou they don’t look a day over 21. having been based solely in Dublin for the last 18 years, They have been catering in the locality of Dunlavin and Blessington over the past 12 years so they have decided to branch out in to the beautiful garden of Ireland, and we are lucky to have them working with us. Both Mary and the team look forward to meeting you all and working with you. Menu from breakfast until evening each day at the weekend.
Squash/Badminton

Comhaltas
Donard Comhaltas hold music lessons every Thursday at 8pm in Donard National School. Beginners tin whistle, banjo, concertina, flute, fiddle, accordian, guitar. €5 per lesson. New members welcome.
Applications – for enrolment to Junior Infants class in Scoil Niocláis Naofa for this coming Sept 2017 are now being accepted. Enrolment forms are available from the school and should be returned to the school office by Friday, Feb 3rd.
Couch to 5km
A new session of couch to 5km has commenced for January. If you are interested in getting fit and meeting new friends please come along to St. Kevin’s Community College on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm. Cost is free.
Arts Festival 2017
A meeting to commence organising the Arts festival for 2017 will take place on Saturday 18th February at 1.30PM in Dunlavin Inn. Anyone wishing to get involved is welcome to come along. The committee are always seeking new ideas. Festival 2017 takes place June 16th 17th and 18th 2017.
Daycare Concert
A concert in aid of Baltinglass Daycare centre will take place in Germaine’s Baltinglass on Friday February 10th 2017 at 8pm. The Willoughby Brothers will perform.Cost €20.
Used Postage Stamps
Please keep your used postage stamps from all your Christmas post for St. Patrick’s Missions, Kiltegan who can use them to fundraise. Used stamps can be dropped into the parish office anytime. Thank you to all who have donated stamps throughout the past year.

Community Games
Westside Community Games – will continue this year with the smallest committee yet. The committee would be extremely grateful of any help, however small from the parents of children wishing to take part in any activities.
