Wicklow Weather has issued a weather warning as Storm Doris is set to strike tomorrow night.
The Aughrim based forecaster is predicting storm force winds in Ulster and North Leinster, with gusts of 120 kmh predicted in places.
Winds of 90 kmh are expected for the rest of Leinster.
Wind speeds will pick up from tomorrow evening and will continue to increase until Thursday, which could impact on the morning commute Thursday morning.
Power outages can be expected in places and there could also be cancellations to air and ferry transport.
Temperatures are also expected to drop back over the comming days with wintry precipitation likely over high ground.
