A man in his 30’s from county Wicklow was killed on Sunday after the SUV he was driving was involved in a single vehicle accident at Stoney Trail, Calgary in Canada.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle collision underneath the Nosehill Drive overpass at around 8:50 a.m. Sunday morning (3.50 p.m. Irish time).
Paramedics determined that the man driving the SUV died at the scene and wasn’t transported to hospital.
Police confirmed there were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
