Wrap up warm this weekend

Snow showers and freezing temperatures are being forecast for the weekend, road conditions are set to deteriorate, especially on higher ground which has already had a few snow flurries today.

Don’t forget our furry and feathered friends, if it is too cold for you it is too cold for them.


A few scattered snow showers tonight but most areas staying dry.
A very cold night; lowest air temperatures of zero to -3 to degrees with a sharp to severe frost and some icy patches.


Mostly dry tomorrow with some sunny spells but isolated wintry showers of sleet or snow then becoming more scattered in the evening.
A cold, raw day with temperatures of just 2 to 6 degrees in fresh north to northeast winds.
