St Patrick’s Day Parade
Aughrim St Patrick’s Day Parade will commence from Tinakilly Bridge after 10.30 mass and finish at the Pavilion, Rednagh Road where refreshments will be available. Anyone interested in entering a float/group in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, please request an entry form from any member of the Aughrim Business Association, E-mail: aughrimpharmacy@gmail.com or telephone 087 920 2751/0402 36655. We are also looking for anyone interested in performing on the day – dance groups, musical groups or marching bands.
Active Retirement
Chair yoga will continue on Tuesdays at 10.30 a.m. in the Sports Complex. We would like to thank the staff in the Brook Lodge Hotel Spa, for the friendly care and attention shown to us on our recent Spa Day.
Members please note our club will be participating in the St Patrick’s Day parade in Aughrim on Friday March 17th. We look forward to seeing you all there. Details to follow next week.

Yoga Classes

Lotto
The numbers: 1, 13, 21 and 28 were drawn in the Sports club lotto on Monday February27th. The jackpot was not won. Match three winners were: Alanna Hammel, c/o Josie O’Byrne, Shane Byrne, c/o Bobby and Jimmy O’Toole, Arklow. The jackpot is €6600.
St Patrick’s Day Fishing Competition.
There will be a fishing competition at the NDAF “Fishing for All” Angling Facility, Rednagh Road, Aughrim on Friday March 17th from 12 to 3pm. Prizes – Plaques and Fishing Vouchers for heaviest Senior catch of the day and Junior catch of the day. Six 2kg trout put into lake especially for the competition! Community Games
Well done to our U12 girls soccer team who played Kildare in the first round of Leinster but were unfortunate to loose but they played a great game. Our County swimming takes place in Coral leisure centre Arklow next Saturday at 3pm with registration from 2.30pm. Good luck to everyone.Notes Deadline
