Thanks to all who supported last Friday’s Daffodil day which raised €1,500. A special thanks to the volunteers and the people who donated daffodils and to the staff in Silver Stream nursing home for hosting a lovely coffee evening on the day.
Parenting Support Coffee Morning – will be held on Wednesday, April 5th from 9:30am-11am in the Johnathan Swift Parish Hall, Dunlavin. Come along and have your say. All children are welcome!
A Car Boot Sale – will be held in the Imaal Hall on Sunday, 2nd April from 9:30am to 2:00pm (Table must be set up by 9am). Line Dancing – continues in the Imaal Hal on Wednesdays from 8pm-10pm at a cost of only €6. New beginners are welcome, so come along learn a new skill and join the craic!
Many Thanks – to all who helped in the Christmas card fundraiser for Friedreich’s Ataxia research. The Kearney family are indebted to all the shops and business who sold and those who bought the cards. Over €4 from each pack purchased goes directly to the research. In total €1,400 was raised for research. Without your continued support, this would not be possible. Sincere thanks to all involved from the Kearney family, Dunlavin. Dr Mary is also very grateful to patients, family and friends for the money €6,675 raised for research at the time of her retirement. All this money will go towards a clinical trial due to be set up in Europe on Friedreich’s ataxia using thiamine. Many thanks for your astounding generosity.

Dressing trees up in yarn, knitted, crocheted or pompoms. Not a fundraising event. A COMMUNITY event. So as many people as possible. Is anybody interested in a Farmers Market in Dunlavin? The first one will take place on Saturday May 6th 10am to 2pm outside Meitheal Coffee Shop. No trading allowed, only own grown, own made items. Get sowing and growing, baking and making if you would like to be part of this event.
