Investigations to identify body found on Bray beach

Investigations are continuing to identify a man who was found dead on Bray beach.

The body of the man which was fully clothed, was found on the beach near the harbour wall, shortly after 7am on Monday morning.

The male is described as White, approximately early 40’s, with blue eyes, around 6 foot 1 with very slim build, dark brown hair greying around the temple.

The man was wearing a green and brown camouflage jacket, blue jeans and black runner boots.

He was found with a brown and green camouflage rucksack. Glasses were found in this bag.

The remains were taken to Loughlinstown hospital.
