St Patrick’s Day parades around the county


The parade will start at 3.00pm sharp Via Mellows Avenue, Navvy Hill, Abbey Street, Hudson’s Square and Main Street. Dispersal after the parade passes the platform at the Court House, Parade  Ground, with groups going up St. Mary’s Road and Floats continuing up town.  Categories: Float, Marching Group, Traditional Group, Commercial Display, Non Commercial Display, Agri/Horticultural Display. All are welcome.


The parade will start after 10.30am mass at Tinakilly bridge and finish at the Pavilion on the Rednagh road.


Commencing at 12.30 pm


Starting at 12 noon from the training and education centre and will end in the square.


The Bray St Patrick’s Festival kicks off on Thursday with a free concert in the Holy Redeemer church at 8.15pm.

Parade starts at 3pm from the Town Hall.

Road closures will be in place on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) from 2pm until after 5pm to facilitate the Saint Patrick’s Day Bray parade.

Roads affected include:

  • Main Street
  • Quinsboro Road
  • Seapoint Road
  • Strand Road

Carnew St. Patrick’s Day Parade – ‘For the Community, By the Community’.




Greystones parade will start at the south beach car park at 12pm. Groups to gather at 11.30am. The parade will go up Church Road to the reviewing stand at St Patrick’s Church. It finishes at Church Road / Victoria Road.


12 noon, starting at Gregory’s garage.


Starting at 12.15pm at Avon motors and continue on to the main street.
