Active Retirement

Chair Yoga continues Tuesday April 11th at 10.30am in The Sports Complex. For those interested, the ballet ‘Copelia’ will be screened in the Arklow Cinema, Bridgewater, on Wednesday April 19th at 7.15pm.  A great night was had by all who attended the drama ‘ A wake in the West’ in Rathdangan community hall. Congratulations to Rathdangan Drama Group who consistently provide excellent comedy presentations.

Church of the Sacred Heart Aughrim

  Mass will be celebrated in Church of the Sacred Heart, Aughrim every Tuesday night
at 8.00.pm. during Lent.

Market

Come and join us in the Pavilion, Rednagh Road, every Saturday from 10am – 2pm. Fresh local produce available from farm fresh meat and vegetables, eggs, freshly baked bread & cakes, seasonal jams & chutneys and healthy options too. Lotto

The numbers: 4, 11, 18 and 23 were drawn in the Sports club lotto on Monday March 27th. . Match three winners were: David Murphy, Adam Keegan, Mary Fox and Fran O’Hara.  The jackpot was not won. The jackpot is €7200.

 

** EASTER EGG HUNTS

Greenan Maze, near Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow are hosting an EGG-CITING EASTER CELEBRATION with an egg-cellent variety of FUN activities for all the family.

Hop along to Greenan Maze over the Easter weekend where the Easter Bunny will host lots of Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Kids will be kept fully occupied and wear off all that Easter sugary buzz while adults can find some peace and tranquillity at this pretty countryside farm in the Wicklow hills.

Easter Sunday 16th April & Easter Monday 17th April

Maze Egg Hunts from 12pm to 5pm on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday
* Easter Bunny and the Cheeky Chicks will be hopping about the mazes entertaining all the kids, and helping to find eggs for the well behaved. If you are lucky they will help you solve the clues and get to the middle of the maze where you might find the Easter Bunny and claim your chocolate reward.
* Find the special golden eggs and claim a big Easter Egg prize.
* Face Painting from 12pm to 5pm…..two face painters will be available to entertain the tots in the craft shop and the tea rooms will be open for home baked goodies.

Easter Day Ticket: €9 per person (children must be accompanied by an adult)

The farm opens for the new season on Saturday 1st April 2017.
Open from 10am to 6pm for weekends in April and everyday in the Easter school holidays, then open weekends for the rest of April and May and all bank holiday Mondays. Open 7 days per week in June, July and August. Weekends in Sept and open for The Haunted Maze in October.
