Remembering Kenneth Browne

We were saddened to hear of the death of Kenneth Browne, journalist and industrial archaeologist who specialised in field of Cornish steam engine houses. The Mine Heritage Committee of Avoca records its sympathy on his death and remembers him for his willingness to give his time and expertise freely to the committee. He will missed by many in the Avoca area because whenever he came to Ireland he always called to Avoca. He left us with invaluable knowledge of the Cornish technology on the Avoca mine heritage site. Irish Mine Heritage has lost a great friend.
