Residents of Bray are being asked to help name the upgraded river walk along the Dargle near the Fran O’Toole bridge.
Bray Municipal District is calling on people of the town to come up with suggestions and observations on the naming of the public amenity.
The theme/focus/basis of the naming is to acknowledge people/persons who have made a cultural or sporting contribution to Bray and are associated with the town.
“This is a wonderful new public amenity for Bray and we want the people of the town to be involved in coming up with a name for the river walk”, explained Bray Municipal District Cathaoirleach, Cllr Stephen Matthews.
Suggestions and observations can be made in writing to David Forde, District Administrator, Bray Municipal District, Wicklow County Council, Civic Offices, Main Street, Bray, Co Wicklow, before 12 noon on May 19th. You can also contact the Council on firstname.lastname@example.org or www.bray.ie.
A map outlining the area is available for inspection at Bray Civic Offices, Main Street, Bray, during normal working hours.
