Frozen food retailer Iceland is set to open a new store in Gorey within the coming months.
The new store will be one of nine new supermarkets opening across the country as part of a €12million investment by the company.
270 jobs will be created across the country as part of the investment.
The new Gorey store will be located on the site of the former Tesco store at at Millands.
Last month it was announced that the site would be converted into five retail units, with Iceland the anchor tenant at the new centre.
Discount store Eurogiant, pet product retailer Maxi Zoo and Costa coffee are also understood to be opening new stores at the centre.
