Commiserations to our County Hurlers who came up against a strong Meath team in Parnell Park who are fully deserving champions of NHL Division 2B after a 4-24 to 2-15 victory over Wicklow. A disastrous start to the second half for Seamus Murphy’s men didn’t help the cause Hard luck to our own Eoghan O’Mahony, Gerry Connors, Andy O’Brien and George O’Brien and Michael Neary.


Commiserations to all involved with the County Football team on another disappointing away defeat with the final score Limerick 2-13 Wicklow 2-09 especially our own Conor Ffrench, John Crowe, Dean Healy and Tommy Kelly.


Hard luck to our senior county girls on Sunday when they came up short in their clash with the other unbeaten team in their Lidl NFL division Longford in An Tochar GAA complex in Roundwood by one score. Final Score Wicklow 0-09 Longford 1-09

Hard Luck to the St Pats players with Gaelcholáiste na Mara Arklow Cian Reynolds, Patrick O’Keane and Adam Cullen who took on Coláiste Bhride Carnew in Joule Park Aughrim for this year’s County Post Primary Schools A Football Final. Final Score: Coláiste Bhride Carnew 2-05 to Gaelcholáiste na Mara, Arklow  0-08.

Thank you to all who supported the St Patrick’s GAA Quiz Night in the Clubhouse on Friday 31st March. An entertaining night was enjoyed by all. A Big Thank you to John and Una Doyle Quiz Masters supreme! Congratulations to the Winners John Gerard & Nicola McGettigan, Brian McSorley and Garret O’Reilly who were victorious in our unique GAA skill tie break competition over James & Mary Phelan and Niall Callery.

The Ladies Section are partaking in a LGFA Pilot focussing on Teenage Players.

The Gaelic4Teens Programme will be run for 6 weeks starting on Tuesday 7th March.

We will train from 7pm to 8pm for the next 6 Tuesdays for Girls from U15 to U17 in East Glendalough School.

Our Coaches are attending Courses run by Croke Park which are focussing on Teenage Girls Nutrition, Lifestyles and Training/Playing.

The Final Day of the Programme will be a visit to Croke Park for all participants for workshops, activities and playing time on Tuesday 18 April.

Can you please arrive for 6.45pm for this session, please?

Please note that this will replace Tuesdays U16 training for the next 6 weeks.

U17 Football for all players born in 2000, 2001 and 2002 will continue training on Monday at 7.30pm and Friday at 6pm. All welcome.


U17 Hurling for all players born in 2000, 2001 and 2002 will continue training on Tuesday at 4pm. Bring Runners. All welcome.


Every Sunday Evening 6pm – 7:15pm St Pats U14 Boys football (anyone born in 2003 or 2004) for some fun games to get the season started in the clubhouse Dunbur. It will be in the hall so wear runners. All U14s welcome


Our U16 ladies train every Tuesday and Thursday night in East Glendalough School at 7pm all new players very welcome come give it a go

St. Patricks GAA Club 2017 version of our Last Man Standing fundraising competition for our club. After Week 7 we have 13 people remaining as 4 people fell after Cavan lost to Roscommon. For the next and final part of the competition We need those of you remaining to predict the outright winners of each of the 4 divisional finals being played next weekend.  The matches are: Division 4 Final: Wexford v Westmeath, Division 3 Final: Louth v Tipperary, Division 2 Final: Kildare v Galway, Division 1 Final: Dublin v Kerry

As a potential tie breaker please predict the score of the Division 1 final. You are free to pick any team as a predicted winner, even a team you have chosen already in weeks 1 to 7. Thanks to the weekly Club Lotto Sellers who give up their time to help raise funds for the Club. It’s greatly appreciated. The next draw is on Monday 2th March in the Clubhouse. Our sincere condolences to the family of Thomas Augustine McGauley of Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully on 24th March 2017. Dearly loved husband of Aileen and much loved father of Alan, Derek and Conor. Sadly missed by his family, brothers Sean and Frank, extended family and friends.
