Annual Sponsored Walk

The Annual Jimmy Cullen, 4A’s Hillwalking Club Sponsored Walk in aid of the Children of Chernoybl Foundation (Arklow Gorey Group) takes place on Sunday the May 14th. The Walk will take place on the Kyle Loop and the registration tent on the day will be in the Tinahely GAA Car Park opening at 9.15 am sharp. Walkers can choose between the 20K and the 10K route. Pre registration and sponsorship cards are available by contacting Jane Cullen on 087 2703498.

Busy Fingers Pre-school & Toddler Group

We are now taking enrolments for September, catering for children from 2-6 years of age.  Free places are available under the ECCE scheme.  For enrolments or any further information please ring 0402 36407 or  087 394 9867.

Yoga Classes

Yoga classes take place at Aughrim Sports Complex on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 8-9.15pm. Mixed level, beginners welcome. Please text or call Yvonne 0876778733 for more details or to book a place. Spaces are limited.

Vintage Car and Tractor Run

Wicklow Vintage Club proudly presents the Vintage Tractor and Car Run at Ballycoog, Woodenbridge, Arklow on Sunday  May 7th. at 12 noon.

Active Retirement

Chair Yoga recommences on Tuesday, May 9th.  As there are four sessions this month the fee will be €20.

On Thursday, May 11th (not 21st) we will have our ‘Indian Delight’ in Avoca – €25. We meet in Lawless’ car park at 11.20 am. Demo starts at 12 noon sharp.  ARA Trade & Tourism takes place in the RDS, Ballsbridge on May 23rd and admission is free. 

Our Dawn Chorus is on Sunday, May 28th. at 8am at The Pavilion with breakfast afterwards. We would like to see all of our members in attendance to welcome the day with poetry, music and song. All are welcome to attend. 

Also in celebration of the Beltaine Festival the film ‘The Best Marigold Hotel’ will be screened in The Courthouse, Tinahely on Thursday, May 18th at 8pm

The Marigold Festival Celebrating Health & Active Ageing takes place in The Brockagh Centre, Laragh on Thursday, June 15th. from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Booking is essential. 

Our much cancelled visit to Dalkey Castle has been rearranged for Thursday, June 29th. Final details at our June meeting.


Come and join us in the Pavilion, Rednagh Road, every Saturday from 10am – 2pm. Fresh local produce available from farm fresh meat and vegetables, eggs, freshly baked bread & cakes, seasonal jams & chutneys and healthy options too. The numbers: 1, 2, 8, and 21 were drawn in the Sports club lotto on Monday April 24th.  Match three winner was: Joanne O’Loughlin, Ballymorris.  The jackpot was not won. The jackpot is €7800.
