The Senior footballers got over the first hurdle and outplayed Wexford and got through to the 2nd round of the Leinster Championship. 0-10 to 0-8 at Aughrim. ‘Every player had a say in this deserved win.’ Winning ‘particular praise’ for their efforts were St Patrick’s legends Jack Fitzpatrick and Willy Cuffe (RIP).
