Don’t miss the excitement of the Taste of Wicklow which returns to Wicklow Town on the 25th June in the beautiful Abbey Grounds.
The Taste of Wicklow, which in its fifth year has become the biggest food festival on the East Coast and it gives a great opportunity to local food producers to showcase their products. There is a great line out with Michelin Star Chef Derry Clarke, Merrion Hotel Chef Paul Kelly and The Druid Chef Rory Morahan with a host of local chefs.
With music and entertainment it is a truly family friendly festival.
Tickets costing €5 which are bought in advance will give the ticket buyer a great opportunity to win a great variety of prizes including meals for 2 and a bottle of wine at many local restaurants and will give free admittance on the day to the Abbey Grounds.
Doors will open from 12noon to 7pm, so come on down to Wicklow Town and enjoy all the cooking demonstrations, food and craft stalls, music and kids entertainment, face painting, and much more.
This event which showcase the best of Wicklow has to offer is organised by Wicklow Town & District Chamber of Commerce and is again sponsored this year by Gallaghers SuperValu Wicklow Town. Dianna Sheridan, President of Wicklow Chamber of Commerce has expressed her delight that Gallaghers SuperValu Wicklow Town are again giving great support to the event and has appealed to the general public to support the advanced fundraising which enables the event to be held.
