Warning issued to remove Aerosol cans from windows as temperatures soar

Dublin Fire Brigade are warning people about the dangers of leaving Aerosol cans in windows as temperatures continue to soar across the country.

With temperatures set to reach a balmy 25 degrees, they are advising people to move the cans from their windows, as exposure to heat could cause them to explode.

They are also advising people to remove any glass beads or mirrors that might be near direct sunlight as this could potentially cause a fire.

The warnings on their Twitter feed come as most of the country is experiencing the hottest day of the year.

Wicklow Weather are also advising people to exercise caution in the sun and to use proper sun screen.

UV levels are set to remain high throughout the day with sunburn time less than 20 minutes in any direct sunshine.
