Thanks to All

Everybody here at Aughrim Community First Responders would like to send their sincere thanks to the Community of Aughrim for their generous donations to our collection last night. In total we raised an amazing €590 that will be used towards equipment for our group and in turn will be used to help members of our community if they need it. As a voluntary group we get no funding and every penny we raise goes directly towards training, training aids and new and replacement equipment. Our responders are normal people who live and work among our community every day and who generously give their time to train, fundraise and go on call to emergencies within the community. Ordinary People with Extraordinary Skills.
We simply could not do this without the support of the community. A big thank you to both church’s in Aughrim for allowing us to collect at their gates. Also to O’Toole’s Bar, The Meath Arms and Lawless’ Hotel for allowing us collect on their premises. We are fortunate enough to have 24/7 cover, so if you need us we will be there. Sincere Thanks Aughrim Community First Responders
