Parish Fundraiser – a huge thank you to all who helped in anyway with the recent home baking stall at the farmers market and to all those who supported Pauline’s plant stall since May. A total amount from both stalls of €945 has been lodged to the Church Repair Fund. Your continuous support is really appreciated.

Thanks to everyone who supported the recent Set Dance in The Imaal Hall in aid of St. Brigids Hospice. The amount raised was €1,650. Special thanks to Syl and Liz for providing the music.
Congratulations to John O’ Reilly, Sparrow Road on receiving a special award for donating 100 pints of blood to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. John received his award from Professor Anthony Staines CEO of the Blood Transfusion Board at a function in Dublin.
Summer Gala Concert in aid of Camphill, Grangebeg will take place on July 8th in McAuley Place in Naas at 8pm. Performing will be Gormanstown Choir, Dara Quartet, Peter Maloney, Ella Fallon on organ. Our 2017 Golf Classic was a great success today in Rathsallagh Golf Club. Well done to our winning teams: 1st prize went to Paddy Norton, Dan Leigh, Mick Sleator & Mick Keogh; 2nd prize went to Niall Dunne, PJ Harte Johnny Willis & Maurice Keogh; 3rd prize went to Pearse Daly, Graham Wilson, Vincent Cronin & Gordon Cronin. Men’s longest drive went to Thomas Kelly; Ladies longest drive went to Breda Walsh; Men’s nearest to the pin Went to Ger Deegan; Ladies nearest to the pin went to Breda Walsh. Dunlavin Community Playschool
Enrolment places for September are filling up fast so if you know of anybody with a child due to start playschool in September 2017, January or April 2018 can you ask them to contact the playschool on 045-406866 or call in to complete an enrolment form so they can be added to the list.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Michael Lawlor, Naas and formerly Mullicagh, Dunlavin who died last week. Michael is mourned by his wife Margaret, daughters Michele and Veronica, sons Martin and Patrick, his many relatives and friends. Michael’s funeral took place in Naas on Monday June 19th 2017, May he rest in peace.
Line Dancing – continues in the Imaal Hal on Wednesdays from 8pm-10pm at a cost of only €6. New beginners are welcome, so come along learn a new skill and join the craic!

John Brady TD will hold a clinic in Dunlavin parish centre on the 2nd Monday of each month from 11.30am to 12.30pm. All welcome to drop in.
Following the great success of the Farmers Market in Dunlavin the next one will take place on Saturday July 1th 10am to 2pm outside Meitheal Coffee Shop. No trading allowed, only own grown, own made items. Get sowing and growing, baking and making if you would like to be part of this event.
