The 2017 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Camogie Championships were launched in Croke Park on Tuesday.

With this year’s Senior Championship seeing 10 teams battle it out for the O’Duffy Cup as champions Kilkenny look to defend their crown having waited 22 years to finally lift the O’Duffy Cup last September.

The Cats will also be seeking to defend their Intermediate title which they won as part of a famous double last September whilst at Premier Junior level new champions will be crowned in 2017 as last year’s winners Carlow have made the step up to Intermediate Level.

Launching this year’s Championships, Camogie Association President Catherine Neary said that she is looking forward to an even more competitive campaign in 2017 and urged supporters to come out and support their counties.

“This year’s Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championships will once more see counties battling it out for coveted All-Ireland titles with great skill and determination on display.

I’d urge everyone to come out and support these great athletes in what promises to be another summer to remember”
