Gardaí investigating the murder of Patricia O’Connor, whose dismembered remains were found in the Dublin-Wicklow Mountains in June this year, have arrested three people in connection with the investigation.
A 73-year-old man was arrested in Co Meath, while two women aged 19 and 38 were arrested in Dublin.
They are being detained at Bray and Wicklow Garda Stations, and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
Patricia O’Connor, 61, was first reported missing on 2 June.
Her remains found scattered across a 30km area of the Military road between Laragh and the Featherbeds in the Dublin mountains .
One man has already been charged with her murder.
