Halloween 2017 at Coolattin House

In an exciting joint venture between the Coolattin House Committee and the South Wicklow Drama Festival Committee Coolattin House will be open on Saturday and Sunday

28th & 29th October, 2017 for halloween tours for both adults and children. Tours will take place for Children Age 6 years and upwards from 3 – 7 pm on Saturdayand Sunday

The children’s guided tour of the house and grounds will include Story Telling and a Puppet Show and will cost just €10.00 per person with 

Face painting for Halloween an optional extra.  All Children must be accompanied by an Adult.


Adult  Guided Tours will take place from 8.30 – 10.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday

All visitors will have an opportunity to check out the nooks and crannies and experience the hidden secrets of the house and to meet some of the fascinating characters who are coming along to bring the house to life for this one spooktacular weekend.

Adults will have an added extra on the Sunday night with Dracula’s Ball taking place from 10 till late on the Sunday night. We would encourage people to get into the spirit of the occasion and come to Dracula’s Ball in Fancy Dress, but of course this is purely optional. There will be a prize for the best dressed.

Adult Tour: €10.00 – Dracula’s Ball:  €10.00 and adults can go on tour and attend the ball for just €15.00. Booking (Essential) Open 1st of October  (Watch this space for booking details



Music Lessons 
Tinahely CCÉ offers traditional music and singing lessons to children of all ages. We teach tin whistle, flute, accordion, concertina, guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin and bodhran in a very relaxed atmosphere. Classes take place every Friday evening in Coolfancy National School commencing at 6:30pm. The new term is now underway and you can join us any time. Call 087 6284848for further details. 


Community Games

Community Games is no different and after a break of the Summer months we are getting our heads together as a committee and gathering our coaches and volunteers to set up our plans for the new year. We hope to be back in the week or two.  Date to be confirmed in the Aughrim Community Sports Field and Complex for all children of four years and upwards preferably school going. We are always asking for more help so please if your child is taking part in the games and skills and running we would love to have you help and don’t worry there are always on going courses available to all interested people who help out to teach and guide you in the Coaching skills of running, games and skills.

We look forward to seeing everyong back in a couple of weeks.
