Nicola Fox from Arklow is getting the logo of a children’s hospital tattooed on her arm in aid of charity.
Nicola told Wicklownews.net, “I’m getting a tattoo of the Crumlin logo because the hospital is amazing.
My connection with Crumlin is very dear to my heart, as my son who is now 11, had his first open heart surgery at 8 months old in Birmingham, but when he was 10 months old he was diagnosed with a benign kidney tumour and under went major surgery to have his kidney and tumour removed.
At the age of 5 James had to go back to Crumlin again to have more open heart surgery, it was heart breaking but it had to be done, and we are now awaiting a date for more open heart surgery for James as he will be having them into adulthood.
