BIRTHDAY

Happy 50th birthday to William Behan, New Line.

HERITAGE CLUB

Carnew Heritage club are busy preparing for their annual heritage day on Sunday 10th September, with the usual cutting and binding, vintage, stalls, home made butter, dancers, tractor pulling, teas, barbe a que and more, all welcome to come along, admission only €5 for adults and children free, proceeds this year in aid of Carnew Community Care, the ladies camogie and football and the Back Alley Community Project.

TINAHELY WALKING CLUB

 Autumn walking schedule not finalised at time of going to press. Members – watch texts and Tinahely.ie for updates. More information in the paper next week. Of course, there will be a walk on Sept 10 and every Sunday thereafter.

LADIES CRAFT CLASS

The ladies craft class will start on Wednesday 20th September from 7-9 pm on the Main Street, Carnew, if you are interested in joining or would like more information contact Eileen on 0862584616.

KNOCK PILGRIMAGE

A bus will be going to knock on Saturday 23rd September for an over night stay chapel at 7.30am, Gorey 8am, if you are interested in travelling please contact Marie 0n 0539426646 or 0872323966.
