A wanton act of vandalism has been carried out at a Wicklow GAA club over the weekend.
The dressing rooms at Knockananna GAA club were extensively damaged, windows were smashed and water pipes leading to the showers were pulled off the wall.
The damage was discovered on Monday afternoon by a committee member, the incident has been reported to the Gardai in Baltinglass.
Anyone who may have noticed anyone in the field, which is located on the Tinahely road south of the village between Saturday afternoon and Monday are asked to contact the gardai at Baltinglass on (059) 648 2610.
