Sympathy is extended to Lily Carroll and Winnie Nolan on the death of their sister Ann Piggott last week. Ann’s funeral took place in Moone on Monday September 25th 2017. May she rest in peace.
Mini Fleadh
The 61st annual Mini Fleadh will take place on Tuesday October 3rd at 8.30pm in Donard Community Hall. Free of charge, all welcome.
Cross Care
Cross Care – held their annual collection at all Masses last weekend 16th & 17th September. This replaced the usual Share collection. A total of €1,390 was raised and your support was most appreciated.
Coffee Morning
UPDATE – after further generous donations, Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning have collected the grand total of €1,295. Thanks again for your support! A list of raffle prize winners is available on the Church notice board. Congratulation to all!
Church Gate Collection
A Church Gate Collection – will be held by Irish Heart at all Masses next weekend September 30th & October 1st. Your support would be appreciated.
Farm Shop
Cinderella Camphill Farm-shop – will now be open every Thursday 1-5.30pm, situated in the Barn on the Park Lane, Grangebeg. All Welcome.
Teen Scene
Dunlavin Teen Scene – will recommence on Friday 29th September in the Parish Centre from 7-9pm and will continue every Friday during school term for the year. We are affiliated with Foroige and offer young people in our community a safe place to socialise, try new things and develop their confidence. The group is open to teenagers age 12-18 and allows young people to make friends and memories. Feel free to drop in any Friday evening and see what is involved. Annual registration fee is €20 and weekly fee is €2. If you would like to volunteer as an adult/youth leader contact Michelle Brewster 086-8346170.
Become a Community First Responder
Dunlavin Community First Responders – are looking for new volunteers to join our group. You do not need any previous medical experience. Full training will be provided and takes place on Sunday 8th October in Lynhams hotel, Laragh.

Cancer Support Group
West Wicklow Cancer Support Group – meeting is on Thursday 28th September at 7.30pm in the Coimin Centre, Blessington. A safe place to meet, talk and be supported during a cancer journey. All are welcome & feel free to bring a friend.

Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to the family John (Johnny) ROSS, Grangecon, who died suddenly last week. Johnny is mourned by his wife Mary ,children Graham, Joanne, Yvonne, Gordon and Don, grandchildren Molly, Johnny, Jake, Ellie, Harry, Robyn, Oscar, Eric and Ruben. brothers Gordon, Robert and Jim, relatives, neighbours, colleagues and friends.
Johnny’s funeral mass took place in Grangecon on Friday September 15th and burial took place in Ballynure Cemetery. May Johnny rest in peace.
