It was a busy week of football our Seniors who took on Coolkenno in another round of the Keating cup and had tough battle but came out on top on a score line of 1.13 to 1.08 .They now face Newtown next Saturday and a win or draw would see us keep our Senior statues.

Our under 13 side lost out to Kilcoole on Saturday of last in the championship semi final and brings their year to an end well done to everyone involved.

And finally our under 11 side played Aughrim in the Allen cup on Sunday and lost out and also brings their year to an end well to all involved  

 

 Whist Drive

There will be a whist drive in Annacuura Community Hall on Saturday night next  November 4 starting at 9pm.

 

45  Card Game

45 card game will start back for the season on Friday night next November 3  starting at 8-30 pm, in the Saltee.

 

Parents

Supporting your Childs  Mental Health and Well Being.

Wednesday, November 8 at 7-30 pm in the school.

National parents Council  representative Sharon Hayden will give this training programme over a 2 hour session in the school. All parents / Guardians are invited to come along.

 

Choir

Places are available for children who might be interested in going to the Children’s Choir. The Choir is open to children who are in third class and upward. Please get in touch with one of the directors or ask at the sacristy.

 

Appeal

Christmas Shoebox appeal.

Every year the School takes  part in the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox appeal. If you would like to fill a Shoebox, you can pick up a leaflet on the table at the back of the Church which gives all the details you will need. Filled  Shoebox’s can be returned to the school no later then November 10.
