Annacurra notes week October 9th

Community Games
10th year Anniversary celebrations will take place on Saturday 21st October in Aughrim Community Sports hall between 5-7. Looking forward to seeing past and present volunteers 

The community games in Aughrim/Annacurra has a long history. After a few years of a break it was restarted  in 2007. We have had many days of Running, Swimming, Chess, Drama, Handwriting, Art, Long Puck, Soccer, Tag rugby, badminton and loads more over the last few years. This gathering is a celebration of our achievements and a thank you to our current children and coaches who have made this happen.

That time of the year again. Our AGM takes place on Thursday October 19th at 8.30 in the Aughrim Community Sports & Leisure Association. 

Please come along even to listen to what community games is about and to offer an opinion. All welcome.

Results  for  October 2.  No jackpot winner. Numbers drawn   10-18-19-27  Match 3 winners;  Patrick and Oonagh Phelan , Aughrim ; Ken Lawerence, Tominaskela  Jackpot next week €8.350  euro. Draw held in Saltee on Monday night.

 

 Whist

There will be a whist drive  in Tinahely Parochial Hall on Thursday October 12 starting at 8-30.

 

Opening times for Aughrim Library are as follows Tuesday 3-5 Wednesday 3-5 and 6-60 until 8-30 Friday 11-1 and 3-5 Saturday 2-4. Membership free. Photocopying available
