Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney

Congratulations to our AGB Scór Dancers who successfully defended their County Title at the Scór na NÓg competitions in the Tramway Theatre in Blessington on Friday night. They now go on to represent the club and the county at the Leinster Semi Finals in December.
The Juvenile Presentation Day took place on Saturday 21st of October in AGB’s Ballymoney Clubhouse.  A great day of fun was has by all sections. The younger ladies teams kicked the morning of in style with breakfast and presentations for the U8, U10 and U12 teams.  All the girls were presented with medals for their hard work and dedication this past season.  Players of the Years, and Rising Stars were also presented with much appreciation from the crowd.   
The Juvenile Boys section continued the day into the afternoon, with the Academy, the U7/U9 Boys and the U11 Boys enjoying lunches and presentations. All the children were presented with medals, and Players of the Year and Rising Stars were also chosen.  A very enjoyable day was had by all.  Special thanks to the team who worked in the background of this during the day and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Position of Manager/Coach

Applications are sought for the position of Manager/Coach of Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney GAA Club Senior and Junior Men’s Adult Teams. AGB Ladies Annual General Meeting

AGB Ladies Annual General Meeting takes place on Thursday November 2nd 2017 at Ballymoney Clubhouse at 8pm. All players from U16-adult, parents, supporters and volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend. Please come along and take this opportunity to show your appreciation for the work done by the Ladies Committee and especially by the volunteers that work with the eleven ladies teams on a regular basis from February through to October and beyond in some cases.

The AGM generally takes about one hour and consists of reports from the various officers and a brief overview of the season as reported by managers and administrators from each group from Academy, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 Junior/Intermediate and Adult ladies. It has been a really busy season and this is a great opportunity to find out what is happening across the club from a ladies and girls point of view. The ladies are always open to welcoming new members so anyone interested in getting involved please feel free to come forward and help out in whatever way you can.

The AGB Annual Genral Meeting will take place on Monday 27th of November 2017.  Nominations and Motions to secretary.arklow@ gaa.ie or to any committee member by November 12th 2017.

AGBs Clubhouse is no longer serving Sunday Dinner. Many thanks to all who supported our Clubhouse this season, we look forward to welcoming you back for dinner in the 2018 season.  The Function Room in the clubhouse is available for hire for private functions, parties, christenings, communions, confirmations etc.  Please contact 0858607592 to avail of our offers.
The  next meeting of the AGB Executive Committee will take place on the 08/11/2017 in the AGB offices in Pearses Park at 8pm.
