Aughrim Fair 2017

On Sunday December 10th the well established Christmas Fair organized by the Aughrim Business Association will take place in Lawless’ Hotel from 11am to 5pm. Many small local businesses present their crafts and services and attract a lot of customers. Indoor Bowling 7pm – 9.45pm every Tuesday starting on 2nd November at Aughrim Bowling Facility, The Pavilion, Rednagh Road.  All Welcome

 Bank Holiday Fishing Competition
at the NDAF “Fishing for All” Angling Facility, Rednagh Road, Aughrim on Bank Holiday Monday, 30th October from 12 to 3pm. Prizes – Plaques and Fishing Vouchers for heaviest Senior catch of the day and Junior catch of the day.  Entry fee included in admission ticket. “Like” the National Disabled Angling Facility on Facebook for further details on events and promotions or for further information phone 0402 36552.

Community Games
Community games had a great evening of celebrations . Thank you to everybody for coming along to support our awards for 10 years. To all our volunteers coaches parents committee and our great children well done . Here’s to the next 10 years
Our training continues every Monday at 7pm. We will be off for them midterm so no training on Monday 30th of October. Have a very safe Halloween

The 2017 AGM of Anne Devlin CCE takes place in the Old School Aughrim next Friday 27th October at 9.15pm.All members welcome to attend.

Mass of Remembrance

Mass on Saturday evening 18th November  at 8pm in Church of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated to remember members of our parish who have passed away in the last year.  Anyone wishing to have a family member remembered at this mass should leave the name in the sacristy.

Indoor Bowls

Indoor Bowls is back in action in the Community Hall (beside Londis) on Sunday and Monday nights. If there is anyone interested in joining please come along at 7 pm . on either night or both.

Active Retirement.

Great News! The latest edition of Aughrim Times, produced by Aughrim Active Retirement is now on sale in all local shops at €2.50 per copy. The magazine contains many items of local and historical interest. Please support the Active Retirement Association by buying a copy as this is our only means of fund raising each year.  Pottery Classes will continue each Monday while Chair Yoga continues each Tuesday.  The plans for our trip to ‘My Fair Lady ‘in The National Concert Hall on November 18th have been completed.

Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes in Aughrim

The numbers: 3, 7, 18 and 23 were drawn in the sports club lotto on Monday last October 16th. There was no match three or jackpot winners.  The jackpot is €2700

Market
