Active Retirement.

We had a busy meeting this month. Margaret outlined events planned for group up to Christmas, these include continuing Chair Yoga and Pottery Classes. A trip to see ‘My Fair Lady’in The National Concert Hall on November 18th. and Christmas Lunch in Hunter’s Hotel on December 8th. Margaret gave a big thank you to our guest speaker Fiona Downes from  Arklow and Wicklow Volunteer Centre who stood in at short notice to visit our group. Fiona gave a very interesting and inspiring talk highlighting that there are numerous organisations that always need volunteers to help out with their work caring for people.

The numbers: 3, 15, 16 and 24 were drawn in the sports club lotto on Monday last October 2nd.  Match three winner was: Martin Burke. The jackpot was not won. The jackpot is €2400
