BruceFest to take place in Arklow

BrucefestA group of friends and work colleagues of the late Bruce Rumbold who passed away suddenly at the age of 45 have gotten together to raise funds for his young family.

The event has had an amazing response since it was set up a few days ago and already has donations of raffle prizes such as TV’s, iPad Air, Smartphones, a signed Ireland soccer team jersey, Art from local artists and several bands and Dj’s have offered to play on they night. It is shaping up to be a night to remember with some serious prizes to be won.

Paul Hayes, Bruce’s best friend has decided to shave his head on the night, it hasn’t been cut in 14 years ! His go fund me https://www.gofundme.com/zyegjt-hair-today-gone-tomorrow received €700 in 20 hours ! He is hoping to get well over his target donation figure.

If you don’t want to donate online you can in Arklow Computer Solutions, Beat that Records and Kavangh’s Wexford road, tickets for the event will be for sale at these shops also.

The event is on in Christy’s main street on Saturday the 2nd of December 8 till late and promises to be a night full of music and fun, just like the nights Bruce loved in his short life.

Tickets are €10 and this includes food, live bands & DJ and automatic entry into a draw to win two tickets to see Manchester United in Old Trafford.
